I
like to race Nitro Monster Truck and Arena Truck (Truggy) classes.
I do
run some electric stuff (Duratrax Vendetta) at a carpeted indoor
track with
jumps, the mid-west calls Stadium racing. My driving style definitely
is
best suited by the 4wd set up. My favorite part of racing is not
only the
competition but helping out my friends as well as new racers.
Set up and
maintenance are what keeps my trucks running strong and fast,
most other
racers always comment on how often and well I clean my trucks
between races.
Right now my race stable includes a Traxxas Revo
with OS 18TM engine and a
Thunder Tiger ST-1 with Dadder's Stage 2 STS .28 engine. One tip
for the new guys wanting to race and get fast, consistency is
key. Slower is faster in the beginning then you can slowly pick
up the pace to catch your local fast guys.
The track I run the most often is DirtBurners Indoor
nitro offroad
(http://www.dbrrc.com).
They are a small hobby shop with indoor track to
allow us nitro guys a chance to run in our snowy and cold climate.
I also run Stadium electric with my mini at Larry's
Performance RC's
(http://www.larrysperformancercs.com).
My favorite track that I have been able to race
on so far is West Olive Off Road Racing
(http://www.westoliverc.com/).
