05-2005 I raced the Nitro X-Cellerator
for the first time at Palomar Raceway. I left it box stock on
purpose for this first race. I entered the Expert Nitro Truck
class and on the first qual I actually won it. Amazing eh? Stock
springs and shock oil, the only things I changed where I used
the SH .12 engine that I got at Hobby People on sale for 99
bucks, and the aluminum hubs front and back. OH, and I ran proline
bowties in the rear, stock tires in the front. That is it. I
had more than one person ask what that truck was and what the
heck engine are you running in there. The SH .12 was awesome,
even with the WAY to tall stock gearing of the X-C Nitro. It
pulled hard down low and revs very high with power. I used the
stock radio also. I did not even struggle with the stock radio,
forgot it was not my MX-3 in fact. Here is the vid of the main,
about 10 min of it. It is about 70 megs and requires quicktime
to veiw it.

of First Race with XTM Nitro X-Cellerator
In that A main I got a top three finish with
it box stock, now I am taking it on and setting it up for racing.
06-2005 Revelation
Raceway:
I got TQ in Expert Nitro Truck, my first ever,
the truck was so dialed. The info below reflects the setup from
that race. Here is the Main
Event Sheet for that race. I was running in second when
a ball cup popped. On page 4 & 5 I fixed that... The truck
is now dialed and I am done setting it up for the most part.
I will fill out the blank setupsheet and post it soon.
06-2005 Thunder Alley
The truck is done, handles like a dream. It is better than I
am and the setups below are the current race setup. Here is
a vid of practice on the very dry track as I am learning it.
The truck rocks
