I made promotional video's for XTM
to use at RCX
2005. Part of the deal was I got to keep every vehicle I
made a video of. I was instantly amazed at the quality and performance
of the
X-Cellerator
Electric
so I sold my T4 on ebay and decided to race only the X-Cellerator
at So Cal
RC Raceway and the other tracks I visit. The X-Cellerator
did have one drawback, in that there were no pro's running it
posting setup sheets on the website. So I am now going to take
the X-Cellerator and make it a racer the best I can and post
what I did to do so.

With just a little effort, the spring fits over the bottom stop.
Just use a knife or small screwdriver to losen the place on the
end of the spring where the very end is, and you can spread it
enough to get it on there...
The X-Cellerators both come with double sided keyed slipper pads,
very nice slipper, with very good feel and adjustability.
Ride Hieght is arms level front, bones level rear, so no the rear
the arms will be a tick low.
The stock body is cool, but I had to get a clear one and give
it the official RacerNine.com paint job. I just dig on the stock
body. It is a Chevy, Ford, Dodge, combo truck or something...
In the rear of the body, I cut the middle to let heat flow off
the motor and battery. I might even open up the windshield or
make a hole in the front grill to allow air to enter and caryy
all the heat out.
Getting a bit crowded on the RC Truck shelf in the workroom. A
good problem to be sure.
