Hi, my name is David Ray Washburn, I have been racing for 5 years now. I love so much about this sport (sport makes it sound better). I love helping people it gives me personal satisfaction seeing my knowledge get beginners get hooked in this hobby. And for you beginners out there don't be afraid to ask for help at the track. Alot of the local racers will be more than willing to help you.

When i first started racing i ran electric, had a blast with that, and then some friend of mine started buying gas buggies. I bought my first 1/8Th scale 2 years ago and loved it. Since then i have taken that more serious. I just got my new losi 8ight and I'm going to run it on February 11Th in joliet Illinois at Leisure Hours Raceway. My home track used to be West Olive Off Road, but that place is no more so know I'm waiting for a new track to open up.
